Meet Stephanie, Motion Connected's new Wellness Engagement Specialist.

Tell us about yourself:

"My name is Stephanie and I am a Wellness Engagement Specialist at Motion Connected. I'm originally from De Pere, Wisconsin, but I currently reside in the Northwest Suburbs in Illinois."

How did you begin your career in wellness?

"I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire with a bachelor of Science in Kinesiology Movement Studies. Honestly, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do after college with my degree. I was lucky enough to receive a job opportunity with Motion Connected back in 2013, and have been working in the corporate wellness industry ever since."

How do you personally integrate wellness into your own life?

"I try to carve out 30 minutes a day for self-reflection; whether that be exercise, golfing, pickleball, yoga, or cooking."

What makes Motion Connected different than other wellness programs?

"Motion Connected gives clients the option to fully customize an already robust wellness program. This team has so many great wellness experts and program developers. Motion Connected understands what the wellness market needs."

In your opinion and experience, why should any organization implement a wellness program?

"The purpose of a wellness program is to help employees prevent and overcome health-related concerns. Investing in a wellness program helps employees create and maintain healthy lifestyle habits and behaviors. Wellness is so much more than physical activity! It is emotional, financial, social and spiritual wellbeing. An effective wellness program is a great way for employers to reduce healthcare costs and increase productivity while improving engagement and overall population well-being.
