As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to share Motion Connected’s Year in Review. From launching new wellbeing resources to expanding our community and deepening engagement across organizations, this year reinforced why intentional, people-first wellbeing matters.
Here’s a look back at some of the moments that shaped our year.
Rethinking Movement with Signature Step Challenges
In 2025, we reimagined what step challenges could be by introducing Signature Adventures—a more creative, engaging approach to movement and connection.
Participants didn’t just track steps; they went on journeys. From virtually climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to exploring National Parks, discovering Haunted Destinations, and embarking on a Global Adventure through iconic cities, these challenges turned everyday movement into shared experiences. Milestone stickers and custom water bottle designs added a fun, tangible layer that helped keep teams motivated and connected across locations.
Expanding Financial Wellbeing Support
This year also marked the launch of our self-paced financial wellbeing course, Money Moves. Designed to help employees feel confident and empowered, the course covers practical topics like budgeting, saving, debt payback, credit scores, insurance, and investing.
By making financial wellbeing accessible and actionable, Money Moves supports employees in building healthier habits that extend far beyond the workplace—helping reduce stress and support overall wellbeing.
Meaningful Results from Mental Wellbeing Programming
Our Balanced Mind mindfulness course continued to make a strong impact in 2025. The results speak for themselves:
- 97% of users said the course gave them helpful strategies to improve emotional wellbeing.
- Participants shared that the lessons encouraged them to prioritize their mental health and show up as their best selves, both at work and at home.
This feedback reinforces the importance of providing mental health resources that are not only supportive but truly resonant and practical.
Conversations That Matter: Webinars & Thought Leadership
Another highlight of the year was continuing our Building a Great Company Culture webinar series. Throughout 2025, we hosted powerful conversations with fresh voices and leaders across the wellbeing space—creating opportunities to learn, share, and explore what’s next for workplace culture.
These conversations helped HR leaders and organizations stay informed, inspired, and equipped with ideas they could put into action.
Growing the Great Culture Club Community
The Great Culture Club experienced exciting growth this year, with membership increasing by 377%. Members received monthly newsletters, digital downloads, and curated freebies designed to make employee engagement simple, fun, and meaningful.
What started as a resource quickly became a growing community of people committed to building better workplace cultures—one small, intentional moment at a time.
High Satisfaction Across the Motion Connected Experience
We were proud to see our overall user satisfaction rating reach 97%, up 3% from 2024. This reflects not only the quality of our programs, but the ongoing support, customization, and partnership our clients experience when working with Motion Connected.
Insights from the 2nd Annual Wellness Trend Report
Our 2nd Annual WCWI Wellness Trend Report offered valuable insights into how organizations are approaching wellbeing today. Some key findings included:
- The top reasons organizations offer wellness programs are to enhance mental wellbeing (75%), improve physical health (60%), and increase employee satisfaction (60%).
- The average annual incentive spend reached $610 per employee, with cash or gift cards remaining the most common reward.
- Employers continue to expand tools across physical, mental, financial, and culture-based wellbeing.
These insights help organizations benchmark their efforts and plan for the year ahead.
