Celebrating 15 Years of Partnerships with Long-Term Clients

As we celebrate our 15th anniversary at Motion Connected, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge some of our clients who have been with us for over a decade. Their commitment to wellness and innovation has truly inspired our team, and we’re proud to have partnered with them to make a lasting positive difference in their employees’ lives.

Oconomowoc Area School District (OASD)

The Oconomowoc Area School District has always been committed to supporting the wellbeing of its staff. Their wellness program, established in 2008, has grown from a simple initiative aimed at raising awareness of healthy choices to a comprehensive wellness strategy addressing physical, mental, emotional, social, and financial health. OASD partnered with Motion Connected in 2013 to enhance their offerings with a user-friendly, action-based platform that has since become a central hub for all wellness and benefits-related activities.

OASD’s program is built on engagement and outcomes. In 2023, 89% of employees enrolled in the school district’s health insurance plan actively participated in the wellness program, with 87% completing their Summer Step Challenge goal of totaling 350,000 steps in 10 weeks. By using Motion Connected’s platform to track activities, educate, and provide wellness incentives such as contributions to Health Savings Accounts, OASD has cultivated a culture where employee wellbeing is both prioritized and rewarded.

When asked“What do employees/participants like most about the Motion Connected Solution?” the OASD wellness committee shared the following:

“Our employees enjoy using the Motion Connected app and online platform because it not only allows them to connect their wearable devices to track progress in physical activities, but also provides additional options for virtual wellness activities in areas such as mental health, financial wellness, and nutrition. The Motion Connected platform has become a one stop shop in that it houses benefit resource information for all our district benefits and offers a wide range of educational content that is updated regularly. Employees can login at any time to access resources, to track participation in the various wellness programs offered throughout the year, and to determine if they qualify for wellness program incentives offered by the district.”

Buechel Stone

Buechel Stone, a leader in the natural stone industry, has been a partner with Motion Connected since 2014. Their wellness program, built around step challenges, keeps their employees active and engaged. Over time, they’ve expanded their wellness initiatives to include holistic education, incorporating Motion Connected’s resources into their communications. “I get a lot of ideas from Motion Connected. We are very happy to be part of the program,” shared their admin.

During a recent visit, some of Buechel Stone’s top steppers proudly shared their excitement about the wellbeing resources Motion Connected provides. One success story highlights how the program has fostered teamwork and engagement. “Our wellness program has allowed us to keep our Rockstars more engaged and focused on their well-being. It has helped promote teamwork. One of the most rewarding things is seeing our Rockstars achieve their goals through the challenges,” their admin said.

When asked what features of Motion Connected have been most beneficial, Buechel Stone pointed to the Dashboard and Message Board as key components. “The Dashboard has helped us strive to reach our goals, while the Message Board educates us on various topics. These features have really made a difference in keeping our team motivated.”

Looking ahead to 2025, Buechel Stone has plans for more challenges and strategies to increase non-office employee participation. Their advice for others? “I highly recommend Motion Connected; it is a great app that will complement any wellness program, no matter the organization’s size.”

Séura

Séura’s partnership with Motion Connected began in 2014, and over the past decade, they have consistently inspired their employees to stay active and engaged in their well-being. Their wellness program, which started with physical activity challenges, has evolved into the comprehensive SéuraFit program, complete with a points system that rewards participation in organized races and walks, completing educational programs, and involvement with their wellness committee.

To commemorate their 10 incredible years of partnership with Motion Connected, Séura’s team gathered for a company-wide walk along the scenic Aurora Trail, followed by some healthy snacks. This celebration was not only a testament to their long-standing collaboration but also a great way to boost team spirit and enjoy the fresh air together. As the company shared in their LinkedIn post, “Thanks to [Motion Connected’s] support, we’ve been able to offer rewards and incentives to employees for staying active through our very own SéuraFit program.”

One of Séura’s most notable successes is the sense of community that has developed through their wellness challenges. Employees who might not otherwise interact have bonded over friendly competition, with leaderboards sparking conversations and camaraderie. The company has also made strides in digitizing information around benefits, making it easily accessible for employees through the Motion Connected platform.

Looking ahead, Séura plans to maintain the consistency of their wellness program, continuing to provide valuable opportunities for physical activity and engagement. They are excited to leverage Motion Connected’s evolving platform to keep their team inspired and active for years to come.

Contract Transport Services (CTS)

Since 2014, Contract Transport Services has used their wellness program to motivate their employees to stay healthy through physical activity. The primary goal of the program has been to foster community and engagement across different departments and locations. Through Motion Connected’s physical activity challenges, employees who don’t often see each other are brought together, bonding over friendly competition and shared progress.

CTS’s wellness initiatives focus on simple, easy-to-follow challenges that employees appreciate. The flexibility of the program allows participants to choose activity challenges that fit their personal wellness goals, offering both structure and support for those looking to live healthier lives.

Looking ahead, CTS plans to expand into group challenges and further enhance their competitive pedometer challenges. Their advice for others considering a wellness program? “Go for it! This is a great way to keep people active in a competitive environment.”
